The Ordinary Retinol 1% in Squalane is a highly concentrated anhydrous solution with 1% pure retinol. Reduces the appearance of fine lines and skin damage caused by UV rays, and general skin aging. Squalane has a moisturizing and soothing effect on the skin. Squalane is a naturally occurring lipid found in fish oil. It has been shown to be effective at reducing wrinkles and fine lines. Retinoids are derivatives of vitamin A. They are applied topically to treat acne. And other skin conditions. Retinol is often used because it’s considered to be the strongest retinoid.

Important To Know:

Retinol can cause significant irritation, redness, and peeling. Especially around the eyes and the mouth, in the early stages of treatment as the skin develops tolerance. If you have not used high-strength retinol formulas in the past. We strongly recommend that you start your retinol treatment with our retinol 0.2% in squalane. And rely on higher dosages of retinol 0.5% in squalane and retinol 1% in squalane as your skin builds up a tolerance.  So You’ll get the same end results without the annoying redness and flaking along the way.
Water can affect the stability of retinol. Additionally, the vegetable oils in retinol formulations can trigger lipid peroxidation. And affect the integrity of the retinol. This formula does not contain water, silicone, vegetable oils, or alcohol.

How To Use:

Apply a small amount to the face in the PM as part of your skin care regimen. After water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use it with other retinoid treatments. Keep away from unprotected sun exposure. Store in a cool and dry place.
